The Four Problems You Do Not Want To Have With a Bookmaker

There are a lot of different bookmakers. Not all of them work the same way. The one thing to keep in mind is the relationship you have with your bookmaker. They are not your friend. I am just telling you that upfront. They might make it look that way, but they do not have any personal ties to you. They come for their money just like anyone else. The last thing you want is to get into hot water with your bookmaker.

It is kind of like working with the mob, but less intense.

1)

Do your research before you open an account. You need to know who it is you are working with. Not every bookmaker is going to be nice about things. Work with someone who is reliable. There are a lot of fly-by-night bookmakers out there. Some of them are just going to take your money and run. Choose wisely.

2)

Do not cheat a bookmaker. You can use their bets against them, as I talked about in my last article, but you do not cheat them. They will come knocking on your door the first sign of suspicious behavior. Bookies are smart. They know what you are going to do before you do it.

3)

You need to keep track of your past with your bookmaker. Remember, it is your word against theirs. That is why you need to back everything up. They count on you to not keep track. That way they keep the upper hand.

4)

You need to verify who you are with the person you work with. They want to protect themselves too. No bookmaker wants to do business with a "dummy account."
